Bridge over Taunton River to close temporarily

TAUNTON, Mass. (WPRI) — Taunton and Raynham police are warning residents about a planned closure of the Old Colony/South Street Bridge. The bridge, which crosses over the Taunton River at the town line, will be closed starting Friday, Aug. 1, for a construction project to "shore up the bridge structure and ensure public safety."
