  • Separately, JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin said, "Currently, two candidates and one parent are in custody for engaging in result falsification using Artificial Intelligence and other electronic means."
  • Anambra Commissioner of Police Ikioye Orutugu reiterated the police's commitment to safeguarding exam integrity, while cautioning candidates against tampering with official SMS result messages from platforms 55019 and 66019.
  • The 2026 UTME, which began on Thursday, April 16, continues until April 22; JAMB released results for 632,788 candidates, though printing of official result slips remains unavailable.
