Breaking news... The election for the Deputy Mayor of Adalar Municipality has been postponed to Wednesday, September 23rd at 10:00 AM due to the failure to secure a simple majority.
CHP Spokesperson Müslim Sarı stated that they have decided not to participate in the upcoming Deputy Mayor election in the Adalar Municipal Council as a result of cooperation with the New Party, and thus the election has been postponed to Wednesday, September 23rd.
Another municipality in Istanbul could switch to the AKP. The election for the Deputy Mayor of Adalar Municipality was postponed due to the absence of CHP council members from the meeting. If the balance of council members changes, Adalar Municipality could also fall to the AKP.
