Mount Pleasant police are currently investigating what is being reported as a May 17 residential burglary on Royalist Road in which $1,000 worth of power tools were stolen.

Break in, robbery at Mount Pleasant Burgers and Fries

During the early hours of Saturday, May 17, an employee at Mount Pleasant Burgers and Fries pulled up to work, only to find that the restaurant had been broken into during their closed hours. Manager Sandra Ramirez told the Tribune that the employee had discovered the door and window by the drive-thru had been shattered, and that the employee immediately called her.
