The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the voluntary withdrawal of Lewis Bake Shop Artisan Style 1/2 Loaf bread, produced by Hartford Bakery Inc., after detecting the presence of undeclared hazelnuts in 883 distributed units. The product was for sale in Walmart and Kroger supermarkets, in at least twelve states, including Michigan, Illinois, Georgia, Ohio and Mississippi, among others.
