- Investigators allege the suspect stole keys to the woman's residence and gun locker during an initial interaction, then returned to steal two legally owned firearms and ammunition.
- Bowden has a criminal history spanning nearly 20 years and is believed to have used at least 10 aliases, including London Valentine Flowers and Cody Young, to evade detection.
- On Sept. 8, officers arrested Bowden near Dundas Street West and Erin Mills Parkway in Mississauga, recovering the stolen firearms, fraudulent identification documents, and bank cards.
- Police are now working to determine if additional victims exist across Canada and urge anyone who may have interacted with the accused to contact investigators.
