Brainerd firefighters respond to unattended fire and other calls

BRAINERD — The Brainerd Fire Department responded to an unattended fire at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, on the 16800 block of North Nelson Road. Deputy Fire Chief Dave Cox said Crow Wing County deputies arrived on scene and used a fire extinguisher on the unattended fire. Fire crews arrived shortly thereafter and doused the fire with water.
