Crews are making progress as fire behavior stays mostly low and more than 5,000 people fled homes over 24 hours, officials said.
- On Monday evening, the City of Armstrong rescinded evacuation alerts due to the Bradley Creek wildfire, while the Township of Spallumcheen amended its evacuation orders and alert areas.
- The Bradley Creek wildfire remains estimated at 2,603 hectares after seeing no significant growth Sunday, as BC Wildfire Service information officer Nicole Bonnett noted fire behavior decreased to Rank 1 and 2.
- BC Hydro reported at least 100 structures were destroyed, and the Okanagan Indian Band issued a "Do Not Consume Water Advisory" for two community systems Monday.
- Highway 97 and Westside Road remain closed as emergency support services continue, with reception centers open at the Fairfield Inn, 5300 Anderson Way in Vernon, and the Westbank Lions Club, 2466 Main St.
- Okanagan Indian Band Chief Dan Wilson stated on Sunday night that the full extent of the damage remains unknown, as crews continue mopping up hotspots and conducting structure protection assessments.
