The protest was organised by the Chhatra-Yuva Sangharsh Morcha, which has been supporting a 15-point demand list raised by students. The organisation had appealed to students and job aspirants from across Bihar to join the demonstration. They have been demanding action from both the Bihar government and the BPSC. Bihar government forms five-member committee Amid the growing protest, the Bihar government announced the formation of a five-member committee to examine ways to make competitive examinations more transparent and prevent irregularities. The committee will be headed by a retired judge and will look into measures aimed at improving the examination system. Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary also announced a new Student Support Camp to address students' complaints and suggestions. The camps will reportedly be organised every month on the fourth Tuesday at educational institutions. The government has also announced a Student Support Portal and Helpline 1100 through which students can submit complaints and track their status. Choudhary said the government wants to ensure that students' concerns are heard and addressed.
