The boys state lacrosse tournament opens with the quarterfinal round on Tuesday at Eden Prairie High School. Edina is the top seed, but three east metro teams help fill out the bracket. Semis, tough: New Canaan vs. Darien, Ridgefield vs. Staples top CIAC slate

The state tournaments in Connecticut have more chalk than Bart Simpson in detention. All four boys lacrosse classes will play their semifinal rounds on Wednesday.
