Gaborone -- Parliament has been informed that the poultry industry has achieved self-sufficiency in chicken meat and eggs and is preparing to penetrate export markets.
For a long time, Côte d'Ivoire's export crops have been trying to rebalance its agricultural model. Without calling into question the central role of cocoa, the country is accelerating its efforts to reduce its dependence on food imports, diversify its production and adapt its agriculture to the effects of climate change.
