Bomb squads respond to device found at Superior recycling center

SUPERIOR — A report of a grenade at a Superior recycling center turned out to be a training device. A manager at Simko Recycling on North Sixth Street called authorities at 8:16 a.m. Friday, April 17, to report a grenade was found in a bin that had been dropped off, according to a news release from the Superior Police Department.
