Liliana Colanzi won the Zinklar Award 2025 and, in this way, she became the first Spanish-speaking writer to win this award. She resides in Ithaca, New York, USA, where she works as a professor of Latin American literature at Cornell University, Colanzi is one of the most prominent Bolivian writers of the moment.
