Batch buyers from different Santa Cruz estates denounced that the application of the flexible dollar increased the monthly quotas of their land and demanded that the contracts signed at the official exchange rate of Bs 6.96 be respected. Those affected announced that they will seek a solution with the Ministry of Economy.
In a month, the dollar went from Bs 9.73 to Bs 11.80, which means an increase of more than 21%. The Minister of Economy insists that the exchange rate will soon stabilize.
