LA PAZ, Aug 18 - Bolivia's Congress on Tuesday voted to censure Economy Minister Jose Gabriel Espinoza, a move that forces his removal and deals a fresh blow to President Rodrigo Paz at a delicate moment for his economic reform agenda. Read more at straitstimes.com.
The Minister of Economy stated that he justified his absence from the interpellation session and noted that he will be governed by the provisions of the Constitution to define the effects of censorship, in addition to consulting the Constitutional Court on the validity of the decision taken by the legislators.
