- Toronto gains attacking depth with Daniel Salloi, who had seven goals and four assists in 33 MLS matches last season, making him available for the Saturday season opener at FC Dallas.
- SKC general manager David Lee said the move provides roster flexibility and gives Salloi the opportunity to continue his MLS career as he entered the final year of his contract, after being an MLS All-Star in 2021 and helping win the U.S. Open Cup in 2017.
