Boeing engineers secure improved four-year contract offer
Boeing engineers have secured a stronger tentative four-year contract offer. SPEEA negotiators are recommending acceptance after winning larger guaranteed increases and revised provisions covering remote work, overtime, retention, and workforce planning.
Boeing reached an agreement in principle with the SPEEA union, representing approximately 17,000 engineers, scientists and technical personnel. The proposal, which still needs to be ratified by employees before the expiry of the current contract on 6 October, greatly reduces the immediate risk of a strike likely to disrupt the 737 MAX 10 and 777-9 programs.
