Remains Found in Westerly Identified as Missing Man

WESTERLY, R.I. (WLNE) — The South Kingstown police Department said that the remains that washed ashore in Westerly on May 14 were identified as human. The department said the remains, which appeared to be a human leg bone, belonged to 31-year-old Eric Wein of Massachusetts. Wein went missing on April 18, and his vehicle was found on Ocean Avenue in South Kingstown on April 10. No foul play was suspected. Categories: News, Rhode Island
