Body of Teenage Girl Recovered From Kingsbury Water Park

The body of a teenage girl was recovered from Kingsbury Water Park water shortly after 7:20pm on Monday, May 25, near Tamworth in Warwickshire; she was pronounced dead at the scene despite emergency services' efforts.
Officers were summoned to Bodymoor Heath Lane after 6pm following welfare concerns, prompting dispatch of specialist police teams, a helicopter crew, firefighters and ambulance personnel to the park.
Her next of kin has been informed and is receiving support from specially-trained officers, while paramedics worked desperately to save the girl at the scene.
