The body of a woman found in the Salinas Riverbed on Sunday has been identified as 32 year-old Monica Yazaret Almanza Romero of Greenfield. At around 9:40 a.m. on Sunday, law enforcement officials received a call reporting the discovery of a body just outside of Greenfield in the Salinas Riverbed nearest the intersection of Elm Avenue and Metz Road.
