The New BMW iX4 Has Over 400 Miles Of Range And A Coupe-Like Body
BMW says the 50 xDrive will start at $66,200 and the M60 will make 603 hp, with U.S. deliveries expected later.
BMW revealed the 2027 iX4 electric crossover, the third model in its Neue Klasse lineup, delivering up to 428 miles of estimated range with a 112.2-kWh battery and pricing starting at $66,200.
The new model functions as the coupe-styled version of the electric iX3 SUV, sharing a 188.3-inch length and 114-inch wheelbase while its dramatically raked roofline sacrifices cargo volume for sportier aesthetics.
All-Wheel drive is standard, with the M60 variant producing 603 hp and 645 lb-ft of torque; the 112.2-kWh battery fast-charges from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes at 400 kW maximum capacity.
The vehicle features a 17.9-inch central infotainment screen and a hands-free driving system usable at speeds up to 85 mph, plus vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-home energy capabilities via the BMW Multifunction Charger.
BMW will produce the electric coupe-SUV at its factory in Debrecen, Hungary, with the iX4 arriving in the United States early in 2027 to compete in the growing crossover coupe segment.
