LAKE CITY, Minn. — A 34-year-old Wabasha County man is dead after a tire he was working on exploded in rural Lake City on Tuesday. Joshua Moechnig Jr. was working on a tire when it exploded, according to a statement from Wabasha County Sheriff Rodney Bartsh. Moechnig was pronounced dead at the scene.
