Greece's GDP is expected to grow faster in 2027, with a better development than the great European economies, thanks to higher investment and robust consumer spending, is shown in the draft budget for 2027, published by the Government on Monday, broadcasts Reuters.

Greece's fiscal surplus this year is expected to be higher than initially forecast, while the Greek economy is estimated to grow at a rate of 2% in 2026, before accelerating to 2.3% in 2027. In the draft budget submitted to Parliament on Monday, the government projects a fiscal surplus equal to 0.6% of GDP in 2026, higher than the target set earlier in the year.
