On the last day of June, Mexican police made a chilling discovery in the state of Sinaloa. Just north of the capital, Culiacán, officers found twenty bullet-ridden bodies. Four bodies were hanging headless, upside down, from a bridge. Sixteen were piled in a large white van; one was headless. All the victims were male. A bag containing five heads was found on the bridge.
