Édouard Geffray went to meet high school students in the Yvelines. The Minister of Education and about 15 young people had a broken discussion about lack of resources and police violence. On Monday afternoon, 589 institutions were disrupted.
At the beginning of October 2026, France was going through a crisis in high schools of critical magnitude, marked by the blocking or disruption of more than 950 establishments, violent clashes and intense controversy over the role of adults.
Guest from France 2 and France Inter this Sunday, Édouard Geffray informed about the partial or total closure of hundreds of high schools, while high school unions are calling for a new day of demonstrations this Tuesday, October 6.
