Blessing of the Animals in Wiscasset Oct. 4
The annual blessing of the animals in honor of St. Francis of Assisi will take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4 at the Wiscasset Town Common on Main Street. All are invited, and encouraged to bring pets of any kind. Pets must be leashed or in a safe place such as a crate or cage.
