Blaze Destroys Beals Homestead, Jonesport Fire Department’s Pumper Truck

In the Trakai district, in the village of Lavaravas, on Wednesday, a homestead was allegedly set on fire. According to the Police Department report, the fire in the homestead broke out at about 3:20 p.m., burning down an outbuilding and a residential house. Arson is suspected. The loss is being verified. Material has been collected for the destruction or damage of property in a generally dangerous manner.
