BlackRock hopes to maintain a 30% expansion rate in its asset base in Brazil in 2027, regardless of the electoral outcome, according to Bruno Barino, CEO for the country of the world's largest asset manager, in part due to the growing interest of Brazilians in international investments.
BlackRock hopes that its assets under management in Brazil will grow between 30% and 35% in 2026 and that the advance will be around 30% in 2027, no matter who wins the elections. Its local manager attributes the expansion to interest in international investments and points out that fiscal and competitiveness reforms will be decisive to attract long-term capital.
