BENTON TOWNSHIP — The Lake Michigan College board has voted to appoint Alloyd Blackmon as its newest trustee, filling the seat vacated by Joan Smith, who resigned in January.

There’s a new member of the Lake Michigan College Board of Trustees. The board voted this week to appoint Alloyd Blackmon to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Joan Smith in January. LMC says Blackmon currently serves as chief executive officer of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Southwest Michigan.
