Environmental entities SEO/BirdLife, Picampall, GEPEC-EDC, Cory’s, ICO DEPANA and IPCENA-Ecologists of Catalonia denounce that the Generalitat’s inaction to bird hunting accelerates its decline, and demand urgent measures to stop its disappearance. Each year, an average of 46,406 migratory and winter birds are killed in protected areas or in fields. Entry Bird populations in the Ebro Delta descend first in SEO/BirdLife.
