Bird Flu Detected in Hobby Pigeons in Overijssel

Newcastle disease, also known as pseudo-bird flu, has been detected in hobby pigeons in Oldenzaal. This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture. The disease is generally not dangerous to public health and according to the ministry the chance of further spreading is small.
