BioLab will not restart manufacturing at Georgia plant after chemical fire

ATLANTA — BioLab, the pool chemical maker that suffered a fire last September that led to evacuations and shelter-in-place orders in Rockdale County, said Friday it does not plan to restart manufacturing at its Conyers facility.

CONYERS – BioLab Inc. released a statement on May 15 stating that it would not restart manufacturing at the plant in Conyers after a chemical fire broke out there on Sept. 29, 2024.
