Mace seeks subpoena of Bill Gates over Epstein files
Rep. Nancy Mace seeks sworn testimony from Bill Gates after Justice Department documents linked him to Jeffrey Epstein, following Clinton cooperation in the investigation.
- On Feb. 4, U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace demanded Bill Gates testify under oath before the House Oversight Committee, pressing a probe of his alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
- The Justice Department released a trove on Friday that named Gates and included Epstein emails, and Mace acted less than a day after the Clintons agreed to testify this month.
- Documents released included allegations that Gates sought to secretly give antibiotics to Melinda French Gates, but he told The Associated Press `I never went to the island`.
- In a press release, U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace said she stands with Melinda French Gates' call for answers and urged Bill Gates to explain his alleged behavior, arguing the American people deserve accountability.
- On Tuesday, Melinda French Gates said, `For me, it's personally hard whenever those details come up, right? Because it brings back memories of some very, very painful times in my marriage` as reports place Bill Gates' ties to Epstein around 2011.
