The text which aims to "relieve the constraints" of farmers, passed on Monday by a joint committee which had allowed the writing of a compromise text between deputies and senators, was adopted by 232 votes to 103 in the upper house.
The draft legislation on the restructuring of the Agency for Agriculture and Modernization (ADMA), previously voted in first reading, has been set up on the legislative agenda and is continuing to be analysed and subject to the final vote in Parliament's plenary, until the end of the current week.
A clear majority seems to emerge on this text, fought by the left but defended in the Joint Joint Committee by the representatives of the whole central bloc and the National Rally.
The agreement reached between MPs and senators on the Duplomb bill is not unanimous. The derogation granted for the use of acetamipride in particular, crystallizes tensions.
