The plan to criminalize the glorification of terrorism is before the House of Representatives. The bill, which punishes the waving of flags of a recognized terrorist movement such as Hamas, was a sensitive issue for coalition party D66. According to insiders, the plan was therefore on hold, but thanks to the 'shadow deal' orchestrated by D66 Minister Sjoerdsma, the proposal is now going to the House of Representatives after all.
