- The accused, Mansoor Alam, assistant teacher at Model Upgraded Middle School in Abhuar, reportedly shouted `Mohammed Jinnah Amar Rahen` after the national anthem while other teachers and local residents were stunned, prompting headmaster Dhananjay Tiwary to call police.
- Police took Mansoor Alam into custody under protection and senior police officials are questioning him while recording students' statements and verifying his antecedents.
- Police say the episode fits a pattern of past incidents in Bihar, noting the 2016 Pakistani flag hoisting in Nalanda district's Kharadi Colony with three arrests and 2023 flag finds in Madhubani and Purnea districts.
