- While BJP spokesperson Neeraj Kumar Sharma argued the code ensures equal rights for women, Hindustani Awam Morcha national president Santosh Kumar Suman asserted that if Shah proposed the measure, there must be something good in it.
- Opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal spokesperson Shakti Yadav rejected the code, alleging it targets a specific religion, while Rajak emphasized that as an alliance government, Bihar cannot independently implement the Uniform Civil Code.
