BiH Foreign Minister meets with His Latvian Counterpart
Lithuania reaffirmed support for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s EU path and territorial integrity as ministers discussed reforms, cooperation and enlargement priorities.
- On Thursday, Minister Konakovi of Bosnia and Herzegovina met Minister Budrys of Lithuania in New York during the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly to discuss European integration and regional cooperation.
- Minister Konakovi detailed continuous secessionist actions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, attributing obstruction of reforms to Milorad Dodik and the SNSD, backed by the Russian Federation, which he said directly undermines European integration.
- The Minister also raised strained relations with Serbia, citing the presence of officials from Serbia and Srpska at the funeral of Ratko Mladi, which prompted diplomatic concerns and threatens to reduce bilateral relations.
