Zeekr 9X Specs Firm up Ahead of Oz Launch
The European-spec SUV uses a 660kW range-extender hybrid and claims up to 737 km of combined range, according to WLTP testing.
- Zeekr confirmed the 9X flagship SUV will launch in Australia before the end of 2026, positioning the model as a luxury rival to the Audi Q9, BMW X7, and Mercedes-Benz GLS.
- European-Specification versions feature a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine paired with dual electric motors, while the Chinese-specification model offers an alternative with three electric motors instead.
- Both versions utilize 900V electrical architecture and Nappa leather upholstery; the European model offers Charcoal Black, Caramel Brown, or Moonglade Blue interiors compared to five schemes in China.
- Charging at a peak rate of 330kW, the European SUV reaches an 80 per cent charge in 9.5 minutes, featuring two 16-inch displays, a 47-inch head-up display, and a 32-speaker Naim sound system.
- Expected to cost over $100,000, the 9X will sit above the 009 AWD electric people mover, which starts at $139,900, though remaining cheaper than primary German competitors.
