After Biezenmortel became part of Tilburg on January 1, 2021, many plans were made for housing development in the small village between Udenhout and Helvoirt. The village currently has 602 homes and 1,450 inhabitants. That number is supposed to double by 2040. "It is quite clear to us that we are at a dead end with an aging village."
