With the official opening of the new district-senior centre Altheim, an important future project for care in the district of Braunau was completed. After construction began in 2023, the residents were able to move to the new house in January 2026. The replacement building of the social welfare association Braunau was created with investment costs of around 17.9 million euros and offers space for 99 female residents.
