The price of parking in the streets will fall slightly in Strasbourg, on 1 July and 1 September. The municipality will reduce the cost of residential subscriptions, as well as the maximum rate for the last hour in Strasbourg. The majority defends a measure in favour of purchasing power. For the oppositions, it is mainly a loss of profits, or even measures that will be counterproductive to find short-term places.
At the next municipal council on 22 June, the municipality of Catherine Trautmann will present its first parking reform. Promise of the campaign, it revises the rate of the resident parking between 5 and 20€, while reducing the maximum rate per hour limit of parking to 17€ compared to 35€ today.
