In Mexico, drug trafficking-related violence has intensified for several months in the state of Sinaloa between two factions of the homonymous cartel. At the heart of this confrontation, "Los Chapitos", the four sons of the famous co-founder of the cartel Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán.
June became the most violent month of the year for that state and the whole country with 212 people murdered.
