The Betharram case, which revealed in France serious violence committed against the students of the school for years, has repercussions abroad. A second Ivorian victim filed a complaint in the Hexagon for alleged acts committed in Côte d'Ivoire in the early 1990s by members of the Betharram congregation. Facts now prescribed but examined by a commission of inquiry. Côte d'Ivoire appears as "the epicentre of the Betharram case abroad".
