She’s been sitting in our living room for six years, perched on a bookcase in the form of a white transmitter linked to a server farm. She plays our baby boomer music, gives us information like an encyclopedia, and could call out our grocery list on Tuesday if we had given it to her on Monday. Unlike humans, she never forgets an item.
