Beroe enhances Inflation Watch platform with AI-powered cost intelligence
The platform now uses AI to model category costs, forecast inflation and compare supplier drivers, while Siemens Energy says spend under management rose to $1.5 billion.
On Wednesday, September 9, 2026, Beroe announced new AI-powered capabilities for Inflation Watch, enabling procurement teams to instantly build complete cost structures for any category, including niche ones.
Traditional inflation measurement tools often fail to assist buyers with complex supplier contracts; Beroe leverages Decision-Grade Intelligence, including 22,000+ cost drivers and 7,800+ cost structures, to address this gap.
Through the platform, Siemens Energy increased spend under management from $500M to $1.5B without additional headcount, while reducing contract review processes from more than 30 hours to under 10 minutes.
The company identified more than $1M in savings opportunities in one quarter within a single raw material category, enabling more than 500 daily users to improve forecast accuracy and reduce pricing surprises.
Later this year, Beroe will add guided should-cost model creation and a new alerts and notifications system to flag emerging cost risks in real time, advancing the platform's ongoing enhancement roadmap.
