Benin officially inaugurated its Senate, the new chamber of Parliament resulting from the 2025 constitutional revision, this Thursday. Established by the constitutional revision of November 2025, the country's first upper house is composed of 25 parliamentarians. It remains to be appointed its seat and, above all, its president.
