The City of Lethbridge unveiled their newly installed Veterans Crosswalk nearby where the poppy flag was raised at City Hall on Tuesday. The new crosswalk, located directly in the Cenotaph’s shadow along 11th street, follows the trend of municipalities across Canada. The design features the soldier silhouette displayed on the cenotaph, alongside the words ‘Lest we Forget’ in English, and the words ‘So that we know’ in Blackfoot and French.
