The City of Belleville has announced it has ratified a new four-year agreement with Unifor Local 1839, who represents the city’s transit operators. The agreement covers the period of April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2029. It will see the city’s transit operators receive wage increases of five per cent in 2025, 3.5 per cent in 2026, and three per cent in 2027 and 2028.
