The STM is taking contractors to court over cost overruns in the Bellechasse bus garage project. I’m still puzzled why it came as a surprise to the STM that an underground structure would not be safe for recharging massive electric bus batteries. Should this not have been one of the first things discussed with the designers and engineers?
